I encourage you to remember why you are on the planet and what Jesus said our mission was. Go into the world making disciples and teaching what Christ taught. Are you making disciples? Are you teaching others how to follow Christ and teaching them how to teach others to follow Christ? This is your mission. This must be our priority no matter what we do for a living.

Mentoring:
To recognize and develop talent, and enable people to become more than they previously thought possible.

I have had the privilege of mentoring for many years now and it is truly an incredible and challenging experience. I can honestly tell you there are very few moments that are as rewarding as mentoring someone. The reason I am telling you this is because I want to inspire you to mentor someone. Before you discount yourself because you feel  inadequate, let me say that mentoring  is not as hard as it sounds.
MENTORING INVOLVES AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS, IMPARTATION, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, AND LOTS OF LOVE.
I want to encourage and motivate you to get a vision for leaving a legacy. The Scripture says in John 15:13, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”  Find a few people in your life and pour yourself into them. You don’t need a college degree; you just need to share with them what has been given to you. It doesn’t matter what your age may be, young or old have something to pass down to the next generation.
Lay down your life today and everyday. Find the joy of imparting and helping to develop others. Mentoring is God’s way of developing others. It’s God’s way of developing you.
